1946
Mr. Ho-Jin-Tuei established “Tung Ho Hang” which became the predecessor of Tung Ho Steel
1975
Tung Ho Steel established the Ho-Jin-Tuei Foundation. The foundation began to reward people who have made an outstanding contribution to society and the academic world in 1991.
1986
Tung Ho Steel acquired Taoyuan Bade works from Sheng Chin steel, which was an integrated steel mill with two 50 ton EAFs and two deformed bar rolling mills (Taoyuan works acquired JIS Mark in 1995), (Bade works stop production in 2010).
1993
Tung Ho Steel established first H-beam rolling mill in Miaoli works (Miaoli works acquired JIS Mark in 2007).
1998
Tung Ho Steel began produce heavy narrow steel plates in Miaoli Works.
2016.01
Tung Ho Steel acquired Fuco Steel Vietnam.
2016.05
Tung Ho Steel signed a contract with Danieli for installing deformed bar and section steel rolling lines.
2016.09
Fuco Steel Vietnam officially changed the name to Tung Ho Steel Vietnam Corp., LTD. (THSVC).
1962
Tung Ho Steel began with shipbreaking and scrap metal business. It was the foundation for Tung Ho steel to become the most influential shipbreaking company.
1965
Tung Ho Steel established the first deformed bar rolling mill in Kaohsiung (Kaohsiung works acquired JIS Mark in 1994). In the same year, it started to use the steel plates were broken from vessel to roll deformed bar.
1977
Tung Ho Steel established the first electric arc furnace (EAF) and the first continuous casting machine (CCM) in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Kaohsiung works became an integrated steel mill.
1988
Tung Ho Steel was listed on IPO under the name Tung Ho Steel Enterprise Corp.
1996
Tung Ho Steel established the second H-beam mill in Kaohsiung works, which became a deformed bar and H beam composite steel works.
2010
Tung Ho Steel established the first deformed bar rolling mill without chimney in New Taoyuan works of Taiwan (New Taoyuan works acquired JIS Mark in 2011).
2018
THSVC produced the first deformed bar by the first rolling mill without any chimney in Vietnam.
